Since Dom (Diesel) and
Brian's (Walker) Rio heist toppled a kingpin's empire and left their crew with
$100 million, our heroes have scattered across the globe. But their inability
to return home and living forever on the lam have left their lives incomplete.
Meanwhile, Hobbs (Johnson) has been tracking an organization of lethally
skilled mercenary drivers across 12 countries, whose mastermind (Evans) is
aided by a ruthless second-in-command revealed to be the love Dom thought was
dead, Letty (Rodriguez). The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to
outmatch them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite team in
London. Payment? Full pardons for all of them so they can return home and make
their families whole again.
How’s this? IF YOU ENJOY THE FAST MOVIES YOU NEED TO SEE
THIS ASAP!
Do you love this franchise as much as I do? If so, you are going to love this kick in the
ass upgrade from Fast 5. One of the
hardest things to do with a movie franchise is to continually top the last
one. Some how Vin Diesel, Neal H. Moritz
and whoever else is seated at the creative table when they are coming up with
the story for these movies are able to pull it off. Start to finish this movie is immediately in
high gear and for the true fan who has been paying attention to the franchise
since the beginning is going to enjoy this movie much more than the newly
introduced fan. Remember the end of 5
and the rematch race that Brian asked Dom for?
Well the beginning of this movie is going to get your adrenaline pumping
and keep it there for 2 plus hours with some great new chases, and badass fight
scenes that you have been waiting for.
As with any great franchise you have to eliminate some people to keep
the story moving. I’m not saying anymore
because it would be a spoiler plus they did it in a way that keeps you thinking
after you left the movie if they did it or not, the way the Fast movies have
been doing it for the past couple of movies.
This is one sexy, tough, fast, and fun movie that you need to see with
really good digital sound so the music and cars shake the theater walls. I’m going to compare this movie to The
Avengers (hear me out) in the way that they gathered a huge cast and was
accomplished ample screen time for all of them that created a perfect balance
for what I’m calling the best Fast movie so far. Anyone following this movie knows who the
next bad guy is for Fast 7, so be sure as always to sit patiently during the
credits for the added scene, which by the way isn’t a button after the credits,
it’s just after the movie ends. I wanted
to be helpful and let you know this so you don’t hold your full bladder
watching the 7 minutes of credits roll by wondering if there is a button. So I'm dreaming of a crossover of The Expendables and Fast & Furious, now that would be action lovers dream come true. Dare to dream.
Enjoy the show. 5 out
of 5 NOS drinks
