One of the few
remaining drone repairmen assigned to Earth, its surface devastated after
decades of war with the alien Scavs, discovers a crashed spacecraft with
contents that bring into question everything he believed about the war, and may
even put the fate of mankind in his hands.
If you enjoy
science fiction movies you need to get off your butt and see this movie. Oblivion is the epitome of why we (I) love
Sci-Fi, because they are great stories that are involved and make us think. The CGI is amazing, not to mention the cool
environments and transportation they created.
Tom Cruise is great as always and to see him and Morgan Freeman on
screen together is some thing I would enjoy seeing again. Morgan doesn’t have a lot of screen time in
this movie but when he is on camera he makes the most of it. Some say the movie is too long, that’s just
silly, and it’s a visually excellent movie with the right combination of action
and mystery to satisfy any level of Sci-Fi lover.
